Ishaan Raghunandan

An information science engineering and photography graduate, Ishaan has worked in the fields of documentary and wildlife photography, wildlife field research, and conservation technology. For close to a decade, Ishaan documented conservation efforts, their results, and the lives of various fringe communities of India. Simultaneously, he spent time in the Peruvian Amazon documenting, taking part in, and subsequently leading scientific field research.

In 2021, Ishaan founded TRAK TFRC, a company providing products and services for conservation technology. These include but are not limited to a variety of GPS collars, trap monitors, acoustic and visual sensors, all connected through receivers hosting an open source multi-hop LoRa network.
